Our aim is to work in partnership with parents to enable each child to reach its full potential. We encourage high expectations and work towards maximum progress for each and every-one of our pupils.
Whilst our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum we offer a wide and exciting curriculum which aims to be engaging and stimulating for all our pupils. We encourage pupils to develop a love of learning, independence and resilience to prepare them for when they move to their next stages of education.
We believe that our links with both the Close Methodist and Parish Church enable the children to understand Christian values that we have identified to be important in our school community. We also endeavour to make children aware of and respect other beliefs within our multi-cultural school and society. Through these links children also realise a sense of worth, belonging and team spirit.
We hope children are happy during their time with us, but that if concerns do arise, then through discussion they can be resolved.
