Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Working Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week.
Salary: Grade 17, £51515 - £52563 (pay award pending)

The Sycamore CE Trust are seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified finance professional to join our trust as a key member of our executive leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a value-driven Trust at an exciting stage of our development.
You should be a driven, dedicated, flexible and experienced leader and approach work with a positive attitude, honesty, confidentiality, and integrity. Ideally, your experience will be from an education or public service background. You either have or are willing to obtain a recognised accounting qualification such as ICAEW, CIPFA, CIMA.
The successful candidate will be able to contribute to the development and implementation of strategy and policy to support the delivery of the Trust’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for providing strategic management and leadership of the central finance function and statutory reporting requirements. As part of our growth, you will play a key role in the tender and implementation of systems centrally and will oversee any other operational function dependent on expertise. As such, you should have demonstrable experience of developing and delivering proactive, customer focused services and implementing change.
This role is directly responsible to the Chief Executive, who is the accounting officer for the Trust, and is ultimately responsible for the proper financial conduct of the institution. The CFO will provide advice on strategic financial issues, ensure the financial health of our organisation and realise the financial opportunities that we have within our Trust.

The Sycamore Church of England Trust are seeking to appoint a proactive and highly organised administrator to join our Trust, based at Holy Trinity CE Primary School.
You will be expected to provide routine general administrative and financial support to the school. As first point of contact you will provide an efficient and professional front of house service for the school, whether face to face, over email or telephone. You should have experience in operating online systems or have the necessary skills to be able to learn and become highly confident in the use of multiple systems (for example, our MIS system, website, absence monitoring etc). Confident and proficient in the use of Microsoft applications you will produce letters, reports, and operate relevant packages such as excel to a high standard.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust within a vital and varied role. Whilst school experience is desirable, this is an ideal prospect to apply previous administrative experience within an education setting where your role will impact upon raising outcomes for children.
